This policy explains what information So-Cal 1 Plumbing & Rooter collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect information when you call us, send a request through this website, email us, or message us through our Google Business Profile. That includes your name and contact details, the service address, call recordings and call details, IP address and device information, how you found us, and your service history. Calls are recorded and tracked through WhatConverts.

How we use your information

• To provide service: scheduling, dispatch, estimates, and invoices.
• To run the business: tracking which advertising works, reviewing calls for quality, keeping licensing and insurance records, and processing payments.
• To communicate: follow-ups, review requests, and promotions you can opt out of.
• To improve this website: analytics.

Third-party tools and data sharing

We do not share personal information, mobile numbers, or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing. We do not sell call data.

We use these tools to run the business: WhatConverts, Google Workspace, Housecall Pro, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager. Advertising services such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads may receive IP addresses, and we do not control their cookies.

Text messages: you opt in by texting (714) 610-5942. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

Data security and retention

We protect information with encrypted forms, multi-factor authentication on our email accounts, access controls, regular backups, and staff training.

Active customer records are kept while you are a customer. Marketing data is kept for 36 months and call recordings for 12 months. Accounts inactive for 5 years are reviewed for deletion. Website log files record IP address, browser, internet provider, time, and pages viewed, and are not linked to personal identifiers.

Cookies and web beacons

This site uses preference, analytics, marketing, and session cookies. You can manage or turn off cookies in your browser settings. Some features, such as the request form, may stop working if you do.

Your privacy rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you (provided within 30 days), have it corrected, have it deleted subject to legal and business exceptions, opt out of marketing, and have call recordings deleted. Send requests to privacy@socal1plumbing.com or call (714) 610-5942.

California residents (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. You may use an authorized agent. We respond to verifiable requests within 45 days.

Our services are not directed to children under 13. If we learn we hold a child’s information, we remove it on request.

Changes to this policy

Updates are posted here with a new date. For material changes we may also notify active customers by email, post a notice on the home page, or tell you directly before your next service.
